Does the site inspection include decibel level readings?
Our standard site inspection does not allow for decibel level readings or noise monitoring. These are more time consuming to capture the data, prepare the reports and require special equipment - so this service is therefore regarded as a separate, optional extra due to the cost implications. We have found that more than 90% of our clients do not in fact require this type of service.
Does the site inspection fee cover reverberation time readings?
Our standard site inspection does not allow for reverberation time readings. This is more time consuming to capture the data, prepare the reports and requires special equipment - so this service is therefore regarded as a separate, optional extra due to the cost implications. We have found that more than 90% of our clients do not in fact require this type of service.
Can the site inspection fee be deducted from the cost of the job, if we accept your quote?
No it will not. The reason for this is quite simple - we want to give the best possible pricing in our quotes and secure the work. We don't pad quotes to cover the site inspection fee. We have to cover the costs of paying our trained experienced staff plus travel. We've kept our site inspection fees as low as possible - in order to help as many people as possible.
